Amendment to Regulation (EC) No 1829/2003 on genetically modified food and feed

The Regulation on genetically modified food and feed was also amended by Regulation (EU) 2019/1381 of the European Parliament and of the Council of June 20, 2019 (OJ L 231, p. 1, 18) to accommodate the risk analysis in the European authorisation procedure, consisting of risk assessment, risk management, and risk communication. Essentially, the EU standard data format templates must be observed when submitting applications, the confidentiality of the applicant's data must be maintained, and the results must be communicated through publication, where possible.
