Next to 10 German-language project management courses (2-day courses) Based on our experience this year, we also 2 German-language project management courses with English simultaneous translation (2 day courses) to the program to enable English-speaking employees to acquire a project management certificate. As a service for English-speaking employees, we have also for the first time also a German-language refresher course with English simultaneous translation (day course) included in the program. The main topic for this course, which will be offered with English simultaneous translation, is: Rights and Responsibilities of the Operator, PL, and BBS. The full course title is: “AGCT refreshing project manager course (1 day) with English simultaneous translation, Focus topic: Rights and obligations for project managers (PL), biosafety officers (BBS) and operators. With this, the AGCT aims to expand its services for English-speaking employees in genetic engineering facilities. If these employees are recognized as project managers (PL) or biological safety officers (BBS) in some federal states, they should also be given the opportunity to receive English-language training to obtain their project manager certificate.

In addition, we have a refresher course new focus topic We will be dedicating ourselves to January 22, 2025 with our first Refresher course on the distinction between the Genetic Engineering Act (GenTG) and the Medicinal Products Act (AMG) . The background is certainly that numerous questions arise in connection with the development of cells/products for human use, clinical trials and product development, as well as subsequent diagnostics and analytics, which will be addressed in this course.

We are posting the entire course program online very early, as we are aware that many PL/BBS students will need to refresh their certificates at the end of 2025/beginning of 2026. We therefore expressly urge you not to rely on one of the last courses, as all courses nationwide have a limited number of participants, and it may be difficult to refresh your project manager certificate by the end of 2025, or at least by the beginning of 2026.
